Oak Harvest Kitchen is an Oakland-rooted company specializing in plant-based, whole meals, using produce from Mandela Partner’s network of BIPOC farmers located within a 150 mile radius of Oakland. We are working towards health, wealth and sustainability by providing reentry job opportunities for local residents as well as quick, affordable, delicious meals without all the processed junk.
Revenue for Oak Harvest’s sales goes solely towards the work we do to enrich our communities and fortify local food systems. Our food is plant based, house-made and free of soy, gluten and added sugars.

OUR TEAM
Oak Harvest Kitchen provides formerly justice involved community members, and people with employment barriers, the training they need in order to gain skills for second chance employment opportunities.
Trainees receive hands-on training and mentorship in food safety, kitchen skills, customer service and hospitality, and essential technologies used in food-service and the workplace. Participants also train inside live kitchens - at partner food-based businesses- to build skills and experience to add to their resumes.
Regenerate Opportunity Program graduates either stay on as part of our kitchen team or gain employment through partner food businesses, ready and committed to providing dignified job opportunities.
ABOUT US
We are an Oakland born and grown not for profit business.
Oak Harvest Kitchen is owned by Mandela Partners, a non-profit organization with a 15 year history of increasing access to healthy foods, good jobs, and wealth building opportunities throughout the East Bay.
LOCALLY SOURCED, SUSTAINABLY GROWN
Our menu features local sustainable produce sourced from family farms located within a 150 mile radius of our kitchen.
By centering produce, we are able to drive our vision to support the economic viability of the under-resourced growers who steward the land and a thriving planet.
To help us with this effort, we source a majority of our produce through our partner food hub
